How We Work
- Remote survey: video call, photos, measurements and any architectural drawings.
- Drawings and quote: dimensioned drawings, equipment list, transport method and delivery terms.
- Build and test: the aquarium is built in Istanbul and flood-tested.
- Crating and shipping: glass panels and cabinet travel in wooden crates designed for transport.
- Installation: a local team installs; we support with drawings, notes and video calls.
Crating and Transport
Glass is the most delicate part of the shipment. The aquarium is fixed inside the crate so it cannot move, with corners and edges protected separately. Cabinet and sump travel in separate crates, sized to the doors, lifts and stairs at the destination.
Customs and Paperwork
An invoice and packing list travel with the shipment. Import duties and customs follow the destination country’s rules; who pays what is written into the delivery terms of the quote.
Power and Equipment
Equipment is chosen for the destination’s mains supply. Most of Europe and the Middle East run on 230 V; the US and some countries use 110–120 V with different plugs. For servicing and spare parts, some equipment is better bought in the destination country.
Livestock and Care
Fish and corals are not part of the shipment; their sourcing is the buyer’s responsibility, and they should be added in stages over a few weeks once the water has matured. Care is then handled by a local service team or your own staff, following the guidance on our aquarium care page.
